Terms of Service

These Terms govern the conditions, procedures, rights, and obligations between boxcu (the "Company") and members regarding the proxy purchasing and package forwarding services (the "Service").

"Proxy purchase" means the Company ordering and paying for products from Korean online stores on a member's behalf and receiving them at the Company warehouse.

"Forwarding (warehouse)" means the Company receiving and storing packages that a member ordered directly to their assigned Korean warehouse address, then consolidating and shipping them to an overseas address upon request.

"Consolidation" means combining multiple packages into one shipment; "warehouse address" means the domestic receiving address issued with a member-specific personal code.

These Terms take effect upon posting within the Service.

The Company may amend the Terms within the bounds of applicable law, with notice at least 7 days before the effective date (30 days for changes unfavorable to members). Continued use after notice constitutes acceptance.

Membership requires being at least 14 years old and providing accurate information. Use of another person's identity may result in restriction.

Members are responsible for safeguarding their account credentials and must notify the Company immediately of suspected unauthorized use.

The Company provides: ① intake, quotation, and execution of proxy-purchase requests; ② warehouse storage (free for 1 year from arrival); ③ consolidation and international shipping via carriers; ④ auxiliary features such as the shipping calculator.

The Company is not the seller of products. Product defects and quality remain the responsibility of the respective seller; the Company is responsible within the scope of its agency services.

Proxy purchases proceed as: request → quote → member payment → purchase → warehouse arrival. Quotes include the product price, domestic shipping, and service fees.

If a purchase cannot be completed as quoted (sold out, price change, quantity limits), the Company will notify the member and cancel the request or settle the difference.

Payments are made via the methods offered by the Company (credit card, PayPal, etc.). Amounts shown in foreign currency may vary with the exchange rate at the time of payment.

The Company has no obligation to proceed with a purchase before the member's payment is completed.

International shipping is performed through designated carriers (EMS, K-Packet, DHL, UPS, etc.). Delivery times are estimates; the Company is not liable for delays caused by customs or local conditions absent willful misconduct or negligence.

Members bear responsibility for returns or loss caused by errors in recipient name, address, or contact information.

Import duties, VAT, and related costs are borne by the recipient. Members must provide accurate customs information (e.g., personal customs code).

Requests for false declarations (e.g., undervaluing) are not accepted; any resulting disadvantage is borne by the member.

Items prohibited from air transport (standalone lithium batteries, flammables, aerosols, etc.), import/export-restricted goods, and counterfeits cannot be accepted.

If prohibited items arrive at the warehouse, the Company may refuse, return, or dispose of them at the member's expense.

Storage is free for 1 year from each package's arrival date. After the free period, storage fees announced by the Company may apply.

If the member takes no action within 30 days of an expiry notice, the Company may dispose of the items in accordance with applicable law.

Damage or loss during storage attributable to the Company is compensated based on actual loss, subject to the limits separately announced. In-transit incidents follow the carrier's compensation policy; shipping insurance is available as an option.

The Company is not liable for damages caused by events beyond its control, such as force majeure, war, strikes, or customs authority actions.

Members may withdraw at any time; withdrawal is completed after settling ongoing orders and stored packages.

The Company may restrict or terminate service for members who violate these Terms or disrupt operations.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes are subject to the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act; members may also seek mediation through bodies such as the Korea Consumer Agency.
